Everton Football Shirts

The Everton football club was founded in 1878 it was first given the name St. Domingos FC and went on to change their name  to the now well known Everton football club. The Everton FC participates in the premier league and is one of the biggest FC in English Football, having won the league championship nine times,the FA cup five times and the UEFA winners cup once. Supporters and fans of the Everton football club are known as Evertonians. The Everton FC consider the Liverpool FC as one of  their biggest rivals. The Everton football club is one of the most supported and loved clubs in the wold with fans and supporters ranging from different countries and backgrounds. The design for the away kits has been experimented on over the years. The sponsor for the most recent away kit is Sportpesa and has been working with Everton since 2017. The away kit is manufactured by Umbro and has been working with Everton since 2014. Many supporters of Everton also wear the away kit to support the football club when they are playing away from home.

Everton Shirt History

The very first kits worn by Everton were blue and white . Till date the Everton football club is represented by  the colour blue and white even though Everton has had away kits which consist of different colours. The first Everton shirts which were released to the public to purchase were manufactured by Umbro in 1974. Umbro manufactured Everton kits from 1974-1983, until Le Coq Sportif  took over from 1983-1986. In 1986 Umbro started to manufacture kits for the Everton football club, once again from 1986-2000. Puma was then given a contract to manufacture kits for Everton for 4 years which lasted from 2000-2004. Umbro once again started to manufacture kits for Everton in 2004- 2009 but later were replaced by Le Coq Sportif and Nike for a total of 6 years. In 2014 Umbro became the new manufacturers for the Everton FC once again. Umbro is the current manufacturer for the Everton kits.
